Come co-create the Temple of Together! Build Day happens at the Loom in Oakland (CA) every Saturday and Sunday from March to July (10am-4pm). No need to send an RSVP, everyone is welcome. Come on by!

What to expect:
Each weekend, we’ll be working on different elements of the build schedule, with activities that range from carpentry to textile arts.
When you arrive, please check in at the front. Plan to come in and settle down a few minutes ahead of the briefing that starts at 10am!
Curious what we are doing this particular weekend? We strive to share that ahead of the weekend in our volunteer community Facebook group and via email (if you fill in the volunteer form, you’ll get this email).
the nitty gritty details:
When: Every Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm. Doors open 9:30am, be on time for the morning briefing at 10am! We take a 30-min lunch break halfway, then resume with an afternoon briefing before wrapping up at 4pm.
Where: 1020 22nd Ave, Oakland CA (unit in the corner, see exact location here)
Carpooling is recommended, check this sheet or find new friends in the Facebook group chat!
Bring all valuables in with you for safety reasons.
What to bring:
Mandatory PPE to bring: safety glasses, work gloves, ear plugs, close toed shoes
Suggested tools, LABELED: measuring tape, pencil/sharpie, tool belt, impact driver & bits, speed square, multi-tool, hammers, vice grip, nippers, extension cords
Bring your own lunch and a refillable water bottle
Note: As this is an active build site, we kindly ask that kids and pets stay at home at this time until a designated space has been made available. Please read and respect the kids and pets policy–we care for the safety of all!
